Suzuki Fronx vs Vitara: How the New Fronx Stacks Up Against its Older Sibling
During PAPS 2025, held in Karachi, many brands showcased their upcoming models, and one of the most prominent unveils was Suzuki’s Fronx SUV.
Suzuki isn’t a brand that launches new models frequently, but when it does, the timing is usually strategic and aligned with market needs, and the Fronx is a clear example of that.
We’re calling it a “highlighted” or “unique” unveil, not as a vague label but because it genuinely stood out.
First of all, the Fronx is Suzuki’s first-ever locally assembled SUV in Pakistan and also the company’s first hybrid (even though it’s a mild-hybrid) in the local market. Once launched, it will be the most expensive vehicle in Suzuki Pakistan’s lineup.
Moreover, the Fronx marks Suzuki’s return to the SUV segment after a long gap, following the Vitara. So, naturally, comparing the new Fronx with its older sibling, the Vitara, makes sense.
However, we currently have no official details on the Fronx’s pricing or the exact specifications and features of the locally assembled variant.
What we do know is that it will come as a mild-hybrid, as confirmed by the “Hybrid” badge on the model displayed at PAPS.
Since Suzuki hasn’t shared local specifications yet, we’re using the international (Australian) mild-hybrid Fronx specs for this quick one-on-one comparison with the Vitara.
Moreover, we’ve kept the comparison limited to features that Suzuki is unlikely to omit or downgrade in the local version.
