Things Roman Reigns Never Accomplished in His Wrestling Career
Roman Reigns is one of the greatest WWE wrestlers of all time. The Tribal Chief is the longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion in history as he held the title for a record 1,316 days, and held the championship alongside the WWE Championship as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns is a Grand Slam Champion as he is a six-time WWE World Champion, a single reign apiece as the Intercontinental and United States Champion, and he’s a former WWE Tag Team Champion. Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble match subjected to poor reception, and he’s headlined a record nine WrestleMania main events from 2015-2024 which is an outstanding record.
Reigns recently returned to WWE as a babyface for the first time in four years at SummerSlam 2024, and several things are missing from the Original Tribal Chief’s resume. It remains to be seen if Reigns will accomplish things in his WWE career that he’s yet to achieve, as it depends on how many years he wants to continue to wrestle for.
Roman Reigns Has Yet To Win The World Heavyweight Championship
Reigns Is A Six-Time WWE World Champion
Roman Reigns won the WWE Championship four times and the WWE Universal Championship twice
Reigns held the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for a record 1,316 days
Reigns hasn’t challenged for the World Heavyweight Championship yet
The World Heavyweight Championship was created in 2023 as Raw was without a major World Champion, and Roman Reigns was dominating SmackDown as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Seth Rollins became the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions when he defeated AJ Styles for the vacant title.
Reigns celebrated 1,000 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, and he has been nowhere near the World Heavyweight Championship title picture. Inevitably, Reigns will challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship one day whether the title be on Raw or SmackDown, and it’s a title he’ll want to add to his resume.
Roman Reigns Has Yet To Be Crowned King Of The Ring
Roman Reigns hasn’t competed in a King of the Ring match.
The Tribal Chief would do a good job as King.
The winner of the King of the Ring tournament gets a World Title match at SummerSlam.
The prestige of the King of the Ring tournament has had its ups and downs over the years. However, the victor of the King of the Ring tournament challenges the World Champion on their respective brand. Roman Reigns was the reigning Universal Champion during the 2021 King of the Ring tournament.
Reigns would be a fantastic King of the Ring winner, and his cousin Rikishi was a runner-up to Kurt Angle in 2000. The Tribal Chief using the King gimmick would work, and it’s another avenue to get him back into the World Title picture.
Roman Reigns Has Never Won A World Championship At The Royal Rumble
The Tribal Chief Won World Championships At 3 Of The 4 Big Four Events
Roman Reigns challenged for the WWE Universal Championship at the 2017 Royal Rumble
Reigns defended World Titles at the Royal Rumble in 2016, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024
Reigns has won World Championships at WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series
The Royal Rumble is traditionally the start of the Road to WrestleMania. While the Royal Rumble match is the key attraction, World Championship matches also occur at the Rumble. Reigns has featured in multiple World Championship matches at the Royal Rumble. While he has beaten the likes of Triple H, Brock Lesnar, and Dean Ambrose to win World Titles at WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series, the Rumble is the event at which he has yet to win a World Championship.
The closest Reigns came to achieving that feat was when he squared off with Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship at the 2017 Royal Rumble. In other World Title matches at the Rumble, Reigns has entered as the defending World champion with a couple of successful title defenses against Kevin Owens in 2021 squared off with Seth Rollins in 2022, and retained in a fatal-4-way match in 2024.

Reigns and Solo Sikoa challenged for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at Night of Champions 2023
The SmackDown Tag Team Championship is no more as in 2024 it was renamed as the WWE Tag Team Championship. Ironically, Reigns has held the WWE Tag Team Championship but that lineage is different to the current WWE Tag Team Championship as the version he won is now called the World Tag Team Championship on Raw.
Celebrating 1,000 days as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at Night of Champions 2023, Reigns was looking to bring the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship back to the Bloodline as he teamed up with Solo Sikoa, and challenged Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the gold. It was an unsuccessful night for Reigns and Sikoa as they failed to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
Reigns Has Never Competed In A Non-Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Reigns Has Experience In TLC Matches
Roman Reigns participated in 4 TLC matches
Reigns has competed in Money in the Bank ladder matches
Reigns has never competed in ladder matches outside of Money in the Bank
Roman Reigns has competed in several gimmick matches throughout his legendary WWE career, but competing in a ladder match outside of Money in the Bank stipulations is one match that Reigns hasn’t competed in. The Tribal Chief has participated in TLC matches with an even 2-2 win/loss record.
Reigns competed in a TLC match for the first time in 2012 as a member of The Shield and they were triumphant but lost to Sheamus in a WWE Championship TLC match in 2015, and King Corbin handed Reigns his final pinfall loss for almost four years at TLC 2019. Reigns registered his first victory in a TLC match in eight years with a successful Universal Championship title defense against Kevin Owens at TLC 2020.
